Quicktime trailers on Suse 9.3?

This may be an old subject, but please bear with me.

I have done searches, and most of the threads are quite dated and focusing on old versions of this OS, however, I would like to know if it has recently become possible for us to view all those .mov trailers at www.quicktime.com using Suse 9.3? And also whether I can watch them in the Mozilla FireFox Browser?

If so, is there a simpler more elaborate method to go about it, instead of the page long instructons I have noticed on some forums regarding this process in the previous versions.

* Earlier, I tried installing mplayer, and being a noob that I am, nothing worked for me, and I quitted after struggling with it for an hour.

Anyone with some insight?

Thank you.
