I am experiencing a very strange problem on OpenSUSE 12.2 64 bit.
I have installed OpenSUSE 12.2 64 bit on two computers:
1) HP Pavilion laptop with Intel Core i5 CPU and Intel HM55 Mobile chipset.
2) HP Pavilion desktop with AMD64 Athlon X2 CPU and nVidia MCP51 chipset.
The desktop detects my TomTom One XL and displays this information:

The laptop instead is unable to detect the same device (nothing happens).
Tests that I have done on the laptop:
OpenSUSE 11.4 32 bit: works.
OpenSUSE 12.1 32 bit: works.
OpenSUSE 12.2 64 bit (kernel 3.4.x): does not work.
OpenSUSE 12.2 64 bit (new kernel 3.6.x): does not work.
OpesSUSE 12.2 32 bit LiveCD (kernel 3.4.x): works.
KUbuntu 12.10 64 bit LiveCD (kernel 3.2): works.
So, the problem occurs only on the HP laptop with OpenSUSE 12.2 64 bit.
