Hey,all, I have a question on doing dual boot for opensuse 11.0 and windows xp, just because I wanna have a try on KDE 4.0, but now during the installation process, I meet this problem saying that unable to mount my NTFS partitions in Windows XP, why does that happen? I used to do dual boot for Slackware 12 and XP, and it works fine. So is it just a problem for opensuse 11.0 or even earlier opensuse versions? Does anyone have an idea on how I should fix this? I would really appreiciate the help.

I honestly have no idea, but openSUSE 11 is, what Alpha 2 right now? There are likely tons of problems of that nature.
I'm replying because if you're just wanting to do this to try out KDE 4, I'd install 10.3, which is stable, and do the one-click install of KDE 4 afterwards. Intuitively it might seem simpler just to install the version of the distro that has it integrated, but with an alpha product, the other option will certainly cause you fewer headaches in the end.
hey, guys,is there anyway to install opensuse after installing slackware 12?
