NMI watchdog: BUG: soft lockup


OS: SLES 15.1
Kernel: 4.12.14-197.51-default

While using sftp to upload a big file (10gb), got error same error descripted in link

Any suggestions to solve it? Thanks.

James

Yes, tried but issue is still there.
Forgot to mention one point, the issue happened in a KVM guest machine.

Given you're using a release subject to a paid support contract, you should utilize it, or ask in a forum here frequented by virtualization users: Linux - Virtualization and Cloud.
