new online packages


I just installed Suse 9.3 pro and used yast to update my pc over the internet. There were some applications I like (like gkrellm and xfce4) that weren't on the cds. I tried using yast to find them on the internet, but it only searched (I think) through the cds. Can I use yast to get new programs off the internet?

Have a look at the sticky thread about YaST update sources. Those can be used with the YaST interface.
Additionally there are online repositries to be used with apt4rpm. Have a look here:
