Question Network not available after resume

I got SuSe 9.2 to work very well on my thinkpad r50p, including the suspend and resume functionality. However, on resume, the network is not available and I need to go through Yast to edit the network configuration to restart the network (I don' t need to make changes, simply to get Yast to restart the network)

Is there any way I can do that without going through Yast and automatically on resume?

thanks

david

ifconfig eth0 start

you need to run that as root, it should restart your network assuming that eth0 is the interface you are connecting through
