Exclamation my screen does NOT work with Suse10.0


hi

I newbie in Suse10.0 and have a problem with the screen??
when I install the Suse10.0, it worked fine with the screen at both GUI and text modes BUT when I change the monitor, it works fine only at text mode

any advice would be appreciated

You need to reconfigure X, run sax or sax2, something like that comes with Suse and will do it for you. Searching before posting a question that has been asked a million times is always a good idea in future.

I am not sure what you did.
Can you explain yourself a little better?

What happens when you boot to text (runlevel 3) and you type startx

Post contents of /etc/X11/xorg.conf
