multi-disc installations

I just tried installing UT2004 and everything was fine up untill I needed to insert disc 2...
I tried righ-clicking and ejecting but it said device was busy...
I tried using umount -f /media/ut..., and umount in terminal but it said same thing... device is busy... Also when I was using cedega to install guild wars the same thing happened... When I put in the 2nd disc and hit ok it didn't register as a new disc... Kept saying plz insert disc 2... Cedega has a mount / UnMount button to use but for some reason mine is greyed out... This is getting a little frustrating can anyone help me resolve this?

Thanks nomb

For wihat it is worth, I have found that before I can unmount or eject a disc all apps which have used it must be closed.

The "secret" seems to lie in a process named kio_file. Killing that unlocks the drive.

Suggestion: close file manager if it is open, then try again. If all else fails, open a root terminal, ps -A, identify the kia_file process ans kill it.

WARNING: I don't know if this will have any bad effects on anything else, including the installation, so you may want t wait for other input. It's just what I would try.

I've just been playing with this and even kill kio_file (and other kio processes doesn't work.

This has become an irritation and I'm trying to formulate a question for here or a bug-report.
