Login error/All screwed up (After installing a RHAT rpm!!) UGHHH
Might sound dumb, but I installed a RHAT rpm thinking it would be OK on Suse. I have installed several programs that said,"Choose RHAT rpm for Suse, and had NO problem. During the configuration of the small program, it asked if it should be added to the start menu on boot. I checked yes. This is where the problem lies. I since have deleted the program through yast under a different user, but I cannot access my login! I enter my user name, then the password, the screen gets ready to go toward the desktop setup, then I get an error that I logged out in 10 seconds. Check xsessions....but nothing shows. It says go into failsafe to see if you can fix the problem. Needless to say I'm TOTALLY disgusted! I had my laptop running perfectly up until this! All help appreciated.
