kappfinder or equivalent?


kappfinder doesn't seem to exist... my 'start' thing isn't well-populated. I did a quick install and then added the amusements. I would like them listed.

It's available from Kmenu -> Settings -> Menu Updating Tool. Try running it from a console to see if it's installed, which I am sure it is.

kappfinder lives in the kdebase3-extra package. install that and you're all set.

On my system, kappfinder was not integrated into the KDE menu by default. However, you can run it from the 'Run command' tab (or make a menu entry yourself).
