Question Installing Suse 9.1 Personal

I currently have Linsire installed on the first partition of a eighty gig harddrive.
I wish to install Suse 9.1 personal on the second partition. How do I tell
Suse to install on that second partition? Secondly does it make any difference
which distribution is installed first?? Linspire is a fresh install, so if necessary
I can reinstall and do this correctly.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Monica

You tell the distro where to install. /dev/hda1 is disk 0, DOS partition 1. /dev/hda2 is disk 0, DOS partition 2, etc. So to install suse on partition 2, it needs to go on /dev/hda2

No, it makes no difference which distro is physically first.
