hey guys, been a while since i posted on here, i decided to try suse 10.1 the other day after not using linux for a while, downloaded the 10.1 dvd image and burnt it etc... but it was corrupt. it started installation fine but could not find the packages to install so i decided now i have the dvd i may as well install it over http rather that re-download it and possibly be corrupt again. so my question is can someone nice pls make a very simple how to, i have gone into http, put in the required information but keep getting http 504 or similar errors? basically all i need is information for each field that i can note down, also maybe a mirror close to uk would help? hope this isnt too big an ask, thx guys...!

I had a bit of a problem with 504 messages until I used the server's ip address instead of it's name (mirrorservice.org).

I'm running IPCop as a firewall, so the proxy and proxyport settings applied. I don't think they do on a direct connection such as BTInternet.

I used:
Servername; 212.219.56.144
Directory on server; /sites/ftp.opensuse.org/pub/opensuse/distribution/SL-10.1/inst-source/
