Opensuse 11

This tread is now old, but I would still like to make a comment.
Since Opensuse 11 is available now, I have installed it (fresh install with keeping my home directory) on my system to upgrade from 10.3. I installed KDE4.
At this moment, except from the nice desktop effects, I have had only problems :

my numlock does not work and i cannot use these keys anymore, i have to work only on the main keyboard (and I tried hard to change this, tried out every configuration)

in the menu, there is no option anymore to restart the computer with a different operating system (no integration anymore with grub)

i can not make the ntfs read/write anymore on my external hard drive, except when i log in as root

i am still trying to figure out what the function is of this "freezing" of the desktop when it displays "plasma dashboard"... what the h*ll is this??? should i do something special when it displays this message, because when I click I come back to my "real" plasma desktop

So...
I stick with my original opinion
We should have advised to use only 10.3 or change only to version 11 when it is more mature.
Greetings,
Marc

suse 11.0 is, and has been for a while, in general release. It is the current distro. If you look at the suse "get it" web page you will see that 11.0 is the prefered release.

The only thing I would advise when using 11.0 is stick with KDE 3.5.9; kde4 is still buggy and enough different from kde 3.5.9 to cause you problems.
