How to uninstall Thunderbird

I had recently installed Thunderbird and found that it is behaving weird.

Wanted to uninstall it and notice that I do not know how to .

1. How do I uninstall Thunderbird?

2. Remember reading in a forum that "just delete the folder" is how to uninstall apps in linux, is it true?

This information is available from mozilla.org
Depending on what you used to install the program, either use yast or follow the mozilla.org instructions. Regarding point 2: yes, deleting the files is all you need to do.

I guess this depends on how you installed Thunderbird. If you installed it via Yast, you should use Yast also to uninstall it.
