How do I restore the Desktop Folder ?

Just recently upgraded from SuSE 11.0 to 11.3 and one of the first things I did was to close/deleted the Desktop Folder...!!!
Just a simple slip of my mouse did it! After several days of searching my system and the internet I need your help. Can I restore this folder? If so, how?

Happy Holidays !

The Desktop folder is just like any other. If it isn't there, create it. In a terminal, cd to your home directory, then "mkdir Desktop".

In a file manager, you can add a new folder named Desktop.

If the files/icons on your desktop don't show up in the new Desktop folder, use a terminal or file manager to add them to the new Desktop folder.

Here is a collection of simple video-tutorials for basic operations with Plasma. Basically you have to add a widget to the plasma desktop. I cannot remember exactly its name, right now (maybe something like "Folder View") but it should be easy to find out.
