It's certainly possible, just make sure that when you install Suse, you don't install grub onto the mbr but onto a floppy. You can even choose not to install a bootloader if you know how to configure the one provided by Fedora Core to boot Suse.

I don't think it is possible to install SUSE on a partition that already has Fedora on it. Since both are Linux systems and use the same structure, they need to be on separate partitions. You may use swap from both systems, as well as /home (which is a little more tricky).

Sorry I didn't realise you said same partition as Fedora Core. You can install them on the same hard drive if you have some free space, but not the same partition coz that will delete Fedora Core.

I know it's possible to do this but I have never done a hard disk install so I can't give you the exact answer. You can also install it from the Suse ftp site. All you will need is a mini boot CD and a fast internet connection.

BTW: did you know that the SUSE 9.1 Personal ISO is for a CD and not for DVD? But anyway, if it works it works Maybe the screen looks better after the final setup with sax2.
