hack ktorrent out profile

Yo!

had a Q about ktorrent, and was wondering if anyone had a solution.

Running suse 9.3,
loaded ktorrent from the included ISO CDs.
it worked fine for 4 weeks,
then one day it crashed and now it wont open anymore.
Every time i try to open it, i instantly get one of those SIGABRT errors??

So, i do the uninstall/reinstall ktorrent with YAST, blah blah,
Same result!

So, i googled around and tried this:
I created a test useraccount on my same system,
login as that user,
try to use ktorrent,
and it works Fine!!

Yep, so it looks like whatever's the problem, its only with my useraccount's profile (and NOT a system wide problem).

So im trying to manually delete all the ktorrent files that are linked to my useraccount.
but im not having any luck. i was hoping there was simply a ".ktorrent" hidden folder direcyly inside my home directory, but no luck.
Has anyone successfully hacked out ktorrent from there profile so ktorrent will properly work again?

thanks

Was there anything under ~/.kde/share/apps/ktorrent? That's the only other place I can think of at the moment.

If i may ask: how did you know to check there?

Also, i never really learned how to use this program.
do you know of a website that would have a few detail/instructions?

That was just trial and error - I've deleted the ~/.kde directory before when tinkering so that was where I looked this time...

I haven't used ktorrent before (I've used Azureus a couple of times) so I can't tell you much about it but there may be some info in the ktorrent forums at http://ktorrent.org/forum/.
