GTK with Xinput support

I have a graphics tablet and to get the pen pressure sensitivity to work I need GTK to have Xinput compiled in. Something that is not in the SUSE10 dist. If I go off and re-complie the GTK source with Xinput enabled, will I break something / make my distribution "non-standard".

Can comments?

Dave
