Thumbs up Good news for a change

I have tried several distros of Linux with varing success but nothing before now has seemed to work right off the bat. While Slack 10.1 was giving problems(and it is again), I installed SuSE 8.2 from my collection on and old 4.3g hard drive on this machine and it went flawlessly! Easier to install than W98 for sure and it reconized everythin in my machine! Funny that because the distro is a couple years older than this version of motherboard. I would recommed SuSE for anyone with the ASRock Athlon/Sempron product.

Interesting post. Maybe I will try SuSE. I will be getting an AMD Sempron next week, it's a laptop though but maybe SuSE will fit it nice.
