Hi,

It is a month since I am running SuSe 10.1. It works well, some minor bugs, but i can resolve them - with your help. Now, the last few days, I have experienced that, after may be two or three hours, when i am not using my comp, after it goes into stand by, when I try to start it again by moving mouse or by pressing any key on my keyboard, nothing happened, cursor is not moving, keyboard does not respond. I have to reboot and then all is back to normal.
Processor is running,disks are on, all that I can see on gkrellm
Any idea ???

When it locks up like this have you tried to restart the X server. If you hit ctrl-alt-backspace it will reset the X-server. Most likely only X has crashed not the whole system.

You might also look here for tips about how to regain control of your system. Rebooting in Linux often isn't needed like it is in Winblows....

The funny thing is that this happened now, not at the beginning. It is true, that i have updated the system and who knows, maybe some of the updates is 2guilty" for the bug.
