Freeze at Kernel Install

I've tried 32 and 64 bit Suse 10.2 on a K8T Neo Mobo w/ AMD 64 +2800 and Geforce 4 Ti 4800. The install goes fine until it loads the kernel (about 2 minutes left on 1st CD). The install just freezes. Have Ubuntu running fine on this and have tried other distros successfully.

Any ideas? Thanks

Freezing

How long did you let the install run until you gave up? Did you notice if there was any drive activity? Could be that it's a big file and it may take a while. That or a full HDD.
