well, i didn't see that one, but i have another - when i try to download anything with firefox, saved file has "another" extension... like, let#s say i was downloading blahblah.tar.bz2 to /mnt/stuff. so one would expect, that in mnt/stuff he finds file blahblah.tar.bz2, but lo and behold - the actual file name is blahblah.tar.bz2.bz2
where did the second extension came from? probably will be mozilla thing as i observed this behaviour on mandriva 2006 as well as on my current suse 10.1
another one interesting is this: every now and then, when i press ctrl+f (find) in firefox, what would you expect to see? a little find bar at the bottom of the screen, wouldn't you? well, guess what? i get an xterm terminal
i close firefox, fire it up again and it's going on like it never happened. (i checked key associations and there's no way i could associate ctrl+f to xterm...)
well, not very helpful post, but i thought i'll share some of my linux+firefox experience ;0
i still think firefox is a great browser ad i am really looking forward to firefox v2
well, good luck then,
cheers
