I have installed enlightenment and entrance from the 10.2 packman repositories and installed on 10.3.
Enlightenment works fine but entrance will not work. All dependencies are installed. I have tried:

entrance as window manager option in sysconfig
/user/sbin/entranced
/etc/init.d/entrance start
entrance

no start or error messages

only xdm starts when sysconfig option is changed

I had the same problem, what i had to do was to make a symlink ln -s /opt/e17/etc/init.d/entrance /etc/init.d/entranced

and then just enable entranced in yast, system, System Services (runlevel)

remember to disable xdm
