Unhappy dm-raid4-5 not loading during system boot - opensuse 10.3 x64

I am trying to get dm-raid4-5 module to load at boot time on my 10.3 system. I added this module to the sysconfig kernel file to do so and ran mkinird which completed fine. However, when I boot the system this module does not load and the error message in boot.msg is:

<3>dm_raid4_5: Unknown parameter `5'
...
FATAL: Error inserting dm_raid4_5 (/lib/modules/2.6.22.17-0.1-default/kernel/drivers/md/dm-raid4-5.ko): Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)

If I manually modprobe dm-raid4-5 everything loads fine and I can mount the partitions on this array.

Any idea what needs to be done to fix this issue?

Thanks.

Not sure... but try referring the module with underscores instead of hyphens and see if that fixes things.
