Arrow Cron Jobs setup - Suse 10

Does anyone have any good advise for setting up cron jobs under Suse 10?

I have only ever set them up with the cPanel cron GUI, and i don't know how to do it otherwise.

Is there a GUI i can install? I tried searching for in YAST but i didn't see one.

Thanks

There's a GUI KCron that may make this process easier for you.

You might check out webmin, it has a cron job setup function, among MANY other things.

Appreciate the help guys.

I couldn't see KCron in any of my menu's or my suse disks.
Is it an app i install from the KDE website?

If i have problems with that i'll give Webmin a go, it looks pretty cool (although it maybe has more functions than i need as i just want the task scheduler.

Thanks again

KCron is part of KDE and is a component of one of the KDE RPM's. You may already have it. Try "whereis kcron" in a kconsole window. It should report:

kcron: /opt/kde3/bin/kcron

You can add kcron to the menu or just execute it from the command line and the GUI window will pop up.

KCron can be found in the kdeadmin package on ftp://ftp.kde.org/pub/kde/

ftp://ftp.kde.org/pub/kde/stable/3.4...-3.4.3.tar.bz2

The file you need depends upon the version of KDE your running.
