How can I change cursor and other symbols, perhaps by a resource (?) editor?
I am using SuSE 9.3.
Yast doesn't offer something acceptable (or I don't just see it!).
Who knows f.e. how I can change the bitmaps?

If you are using KDE you need to change the cursor theme - www.kde-look.org is a good starting point. If you are using Gnome, same thing, except you should go to www.gnome-look.org
Tnx for the starting point! I am just looking for a black arrow and a black bar when editing. Just as using any other unix system. I don't want to use linux for games.
