I just looked all over the Net and can't find anything as to when OpenSUSE is coming out of Beta. I'd like to review it for Distrohoppers' Digest, but would probably be better after it's been out for a bit. I also note that their forum is moving, which would also make it difficult for new users to find help. Any information will help.
It was originally scheduled for May 5th (I believe) but because of the planned "closing of the gap" with SLE, it has been pushed to late June/early July.
I've been testing 15.2 beta in VM; it should be a fine release when it's ready.
EDIT: I knew I had a screenshot from the last few days:

Self since 04 May 2020 running 15.2 Beta, at 35th boot over all working fine.
Only issue is with soffice.bin using Calc in LibreOffice.
Use spreadsheets a lot and memory usage suddenly maxes out to crash, appears to be when doing Copy then Paste, often several columns in a row, sometimes a single cell.
As crash not every time, just every now and then, am keeping a closer eye on Memory usage.
Distribution: openSUSE, Raspbian, Slackware. Previous: MacOS, Red Hat, Coherent, Consensys SVR4.2, Tru64, Solaris

My guess is: pretty soon.
I had a Tumbleweed-based system slog through 2,688 updates last weekend so it seems there's a big push going on.
As for the forum, I received an email back in May letting me know of the new site and it contained a link to create an account on the new site. (Pretty painless process, BTW) I haven't dove in a big way into the fora/discussions side of the site yet but, as near as I can tell, it appears that everything was was transferred onto the new site. Try heading over to: https://forums.suse.com/discussions. If you didn't get the email, there's a signup link. Not sure what you'd do if you had extensive posts on the old site and wanted to retain ownership of those but never got the email that I did.

There is always more to learn ;-)
.
I wonder how that would work with other office packages... I'm a fan of SoftMaker Office, have used it since 2008.
