[11.0] Bootsplash "not installed" = non-working

Hi there,

I'm having trouble with the bootsplash in 11.0. It hasn't been working since day 1 with 11.0, and although it's really a minor thing (as I reboot rarely), I'd like to see it fixed.

The bootlog only says:
Code:
boot/82-resume.userspace.sh: line 48: /proc/splash: No such file or directory
So I've searched around a bit, but only found out that this probably means bootsplash is incorrectly installed.
This is further confirmed by trying to activate it via the runlevel-editor (where it was marked as Yes*, so should run, but doesn't). Here it says:
Code:
/etc/init.d/splash start gab 5 (Programm ist nicht installiert) zurück
... returned 5 (program not installed)
So I've reinstalled it a few times, but nothing changed.

Any ideas welcome.
