Yast run in command line question


Hello,
I'm using Suse 9.2. I find that Yast is a very good tool. And I want to use it to run shell script to change some network settings.Is it work? Also, I don't know the parameter for setting the network card(use module lan). Where can I find more information about this?

I do not know if this will work. However you can change the system settings
using the files in /etc/sysconfig. After Changing the values run
SuSEconfig.

YAST also operates on/with those files.

What parameter exactly would you like to set for your network card ?
You may use mii-diag for example (make sure the netiag package is installed)!
