Uninstalling Real Player 10 (Suse 10)
Hi all,
I am using SuSe 10.0. I installed RealPlayer10 thru the
.bin file so uninstalling via rpm is not possible.
Is there any uninstall script available which removes
executables / plugins / fonts etc.
There is a install.log created the /usr/local/RealPlayer
directory(where I installed) - if no uninstall script is
available I think I will have go thru this file and
rm all links and files created there. Will this
approach work for removing the plugins.
Another problem is : how do I move the /usr directory
to a new disk(mounted as /data1) since my root partition
is getting filled up.
I tried symbolic links /usr-> /data1/usr
but this creates all sorts of problems (during boot,
man page viewing etc). Is it possible to mount the root
partition and then /data1 immediately after that
during boot so that all executables/libraries
are immediately available.
Thanks,
jaijeet
