OpenSuSE beta3 installer hangs

Hi, I wanted to check out the OpenSuse beta, and burned the boot.iso disk. after booting, entering a network respiratory, and waiting for the installer to load, I answered a few questions from the installer, and then I got to the overview part of the installation. it just hanged on the "resolving selected packages" part for hours. furthermore, I could not move the mouse or swith to a different VT. in the end I turned it off and returned to ubuntu. does anyone know what I can do so that it won't hang?

PS
in case it is helpful, i've got 256MB of memory.

You should open an account with Novell and search the OpenSuSE bugzilla database for your problems. Either bugzilla has a fix or you can submit a bug report.

I found the problem, it seems that the kernel ran out of memory and killed YaST. the bug is that YaST is too heavy for my computer.

does anyone know if this is version specific (a bug) or just a general problem?
