KDE System Guard, What should be there?

My Firefox hangs whle surfing the net and I kill it.

A restart of Firefox brings up KDE System Guard automatically.

Any idea what process should be running by default?
else the KDE System Guard may not be useful

firefox and firefox-bin

When I look in KDE System Guard there is only one instance of Firefox and that is firefox-bin, I have never seen two.

Before you try a reinstall try a new profile /usr/bin/firefox -profilemanager

If firefox is crashing the problem is more than likely an extension or theme causing problems.
