Installing from Suse 9.3 Live Professional DVD

Can it be done? Can I install Suse 9.3 professional from the Suse 9.3 Professional Live DVD? This isn't the evaulation DVD. This is the professional one. Before I burn it I must make sure.

The live DVD and CD are meant as evaluation. To my opinion you need a full install.

9.2 is available on many download sites if you want buy 9.3.

You can download the Full installation of SuSE 9.3 in either DVD or CD iso format from the SuSE ftp site. The live disks are the ones that run from the disk. The evaluation version is the installable version.

The previous poster is correct, there are two DVDs available and the one you want is slightly over 4Gb in size and supports both 32 and 64 bit CPUs, but it has fewer packages that the CD set. Beware, some mirrors show the DVD as less than 4Gb. These are not complete! Also take note that if you're downloading into a Windows machine you must download into a NTFS partition because FAT32 will not accept a single file larger than 4Gb. If you want everything you can get and no file size issues, the CDs are a good choice.
