How to get Mp3 support linux opensuse 10.2?

I have totem-xine and banshee installed + packman repositories. What package must I install to get MP3 files to play in totem and banshee?

Lightbulb Follow Forum How-To Guide and Load W32CODE-ALL

You should read the forum How-To at:

http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...d.php?t=509097

Follow these instructions to get full multimedia support in SuSE Linux 10.2. I think you will be loading W32CODEC-ALL to get what you need for MP3. I can play DVD's and MP3's without any problems. I can even support Dolby Digital 5.1 + using an optical out connection and SPDIF pass through. It works like a champ.

Thank You,

I install w32codecs-all package, libxine1, and libxine1-gnome-vfs. No luck with getting MP3 to play after that.

Question Did you follow the Forum Media How-To?

If you followed the Forum How-To Example, you should be up and running. What MP3 player are you trying to use? I use Amorok which works just fine for me. Can you play Audio CD's? Can you watch a DVD movie? Give us more about the MP3 player Problem.

Thank You,
