skel file not created

Hi all,

After I created a user using useradd command, I didn't see the file .profile created in his home directory from the /etc/skel directory.
Code:
bsash-3.00# cd /etc/skel/
bash-3.00# ls
local.cshrc local.login local.profile
bash-3.00# cat local.profile

#
# ident "@(#)local.profile 1.10 01/06/23 SMI"
stty istrip
PATH=/usr/bin:/usr/ucb:/etc:.
export PATH
bash-3.00# cd /users
bash-3.00# mkdir simon
bash-3.00# useradd -d /users/simon/ -s /bin/bash -c "test user" simon
bash-3.00# cd /users/simon/
bash-3.00# ls
bash-3.00# ls -al
total 4
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 512 Jul 20 20:46 .
drwxr-xr-x 5 root root 512 Jul 20 20:46 ..

Hi.

Try adding '-m' to the useradd args.

Or use "smc" as root for correctly adding a user. It is a GUI that allows you to do lots of administration.
