Removing Solaris from SYSTEM COMMANDER?
1. I have another PC in Europe with Windows 2000 installed. I want to install Solaris 10 on that PC too using a dual-boot with System Commander. Will Solaris still install if something is not compatible with it? I dont mind, because I will use Windows if Solaris will find something that is not compatible with it, but I do want Solaris to be installed on that machine too. My question is, If something is not compatible with Solaris 10, will the whole installation process will go through anyway?
2. How can I remove Solaris from System Commander? I will have to remove it by selecting REMOVE PARTITION and UNINSTALL System Commander? Do i have to do a FIXMBR after or I have to just UNINSTALL System commander and leaving only Windows 2000?? Am I right or wrong? I'm only asking this question if Solaris WILL NOT GO THROUGH OR INSTALL ALL THE WAY THROUGH if something bad has happened...So then I can just DELETE were it says DELETE PARTITION?? Am I correct? And then what do I have to do next?? Just uninstall System Commander and then do a FIXMBR IN WINDOWS?
So my overall question is: If something is not compatible (or some Hardware) with Solaris 10, will the whole installation process will go through anyway?
Since my other PC is there..I dont have the specs..All I know that its a Intel processor 2.4 and a 800MHz FSB...Thats all I know..

1: Except in rare circumstances, unsupported devices are simply ignored and do not prevent a successful installation, provided the required core H/W is supported.
2: No idea, I don't use nor need System Commander, whatever it is.
