NSAPI Filter implementation on Solaris running on sparc

NSAPI filter implementation on Solaris 8.0 (SPARC) vs RedHat Linux AS 3
What is the difference in developing NSAPI filter using Sun ONE Web Server 6.1 on Solaris SPARC
AND
developing NSAPI filter application using Sun ONE Web Server 6.1 on Red Hat Linux AS 3.
If I develop NSAPI filter on Red Hat Linux AS 3 and port the same to Solaris. Would there be any difference or would there be any cross platform issue. If yes , then kindly make me aware as I am completely new to NSAPI programming on both the platforms.
Thanks
barkha

There should be no difference on the NSAPI side.
Differences can exist in the library generation phase (compiler and linker options), and in parts of your code unrelated to NSAPI.

One issue I can forsee is :

As I said, there are *no* known potential issues specific to NSAPI I'm aware of.
Beyond that, porting from one O/S to another can always lead to problems.
