I have installed Solaris 10 X86 in my pc. I want to mount the winxp PC filesystem into my /winxp in solaris OS. The partition infomation is as follows;
/dev/hda1: winxp ntfs
/dev/hda2 X86boot
/dev/hda3 solaris
/dev/hda4 Dos
# mkdir /winxp; mount -F nfs /dev/dsk/c0d0p1 /winxp
mount: /dev/dsk/c0d0p1 is not a DOS filesystem.
From the error message above I think the solaris can not recognize the ntfs filesystem of winxp. If I change it into FAT filesystem and Use "-F pcfs " to perform mount, is it ok?
And I wonder some methods to mount the nfs filesystem of winxp into solaris.
Distribution: Solaris 11.4, Oracle Linux, Mint, Debian/WSL

It's not currently possible, Windows allows you to change a files system from FAT to NTFS, but not the opposite, and you can't fake NTFS for FAT, they have totally different structures.
OpenSolaris ntfs implementation may be developed in the future, though.
