Help: Open Solaris gcc compiler problem

Hello.
Whenever i try compiling a c++ program, the terminal tells me that i am missing SUNWprivate4.5. It also said that "ld" required SUNWprivate4.5. Can someone help me? How do you install it? Thank you!

I think that means you need to install the optional package "SUNWprivate4.5"?

This might be a better question to put into the Solaris forum, rather than Linux software. Have you looked in the Sun knowledgebase? There are 297 hits that relate. Don't know what version of Solaris you're using, so I can't give you specifics.

And have you checked the Sun knowledgbase??? The package is referenced there, ready for download and installation.
