ZipSlack on Windows XP

Sorry if this has been answered before but I couldn't find anything about it.

How can I boot ZipSlack on a computer running Windows XP? It's installed it in E:\linux\ which is on a 80GB FAT32 partition. It would be /dev/hdb1 in Linux.

I can't boot it because XP doesn't contain DOS. The only way I can think about doing it, is to edit Windows boot.ini file but I don't know how to use that file.

So, has anybody had this trouble before and knows the solution to it?

Thanks to any replies.

Doesn't your BIOS support bootsequence from ZipDisk? That's odd. Unless it's old BIOS. Perhaps, flashing the BIOS will help

Zipslack only works on a FAT partition. If your XP is on an NTFS volume it will never work.
If your xp IS installed to a FAT, then you just need to boot using the zipslack boot floppy, instead of booting using loadlin.
loadlin is what needs DOS.
