Question Will a SARPi Project ARM Slackware for the Pi3 work on a Pi Zero?

Hello!
I am seriously considering making use of Slackware on ARM for more serious work for the Raspberry Pi family.

What would be involved in making Slackware on ARM work on that device?
I'll be using the most recent of their designs for the Pi3 for starters.

The Pi 0 has basically no FPU, so Pi 3 32bit software using Maths instructions will not work on a Pi 0. I had one myself for a while, before it was sacrificed in the worthy cause of getting my son's half-assed back end server online in the very early days. They are seriously going now.

Some spackasges for the Pi 3 havre no maths instructions, and they would run, but anything with maths FPU instructions would crash.

You may be able to get a Slackware Arm link link for Pi 0 stuff, and Raspberry Pi used to have an image download for it, but demand is basically zero and shrinking.

For the p[rice of the hardwared you are better off investing.

For the RPi-0 you'll need Slackwarearm-14.2 rather than Slackwarearm-current for the reason @business_kid suggests.

That and the installer for RPi-1 should see you good.

Enjoy
