[SOLVED] SDDM : Wrong language at login

Hi all

I have tried many things but impossible to change the language og SDDM at login ( when KDE is launched, no problem ).

I have put in "/usr/share/sddm/scripts/Xsetup" :

LANG="fr_FR.utf-8"
export LANG
LC_TIME="fr_FR.utf-8"
export LC_TIME
setxkbmap fr

The "setxkbmap fr" is well taken into account : I have the "good" keyboard.

But the date and hour is always in English format !

Did you try "timeconfig" and set your time zone?

Looking at "/etc/default/sddm", I have seen that it is only a call to "/etc/profile.d/lang.sh".

This script sets the language for all applications using it.

So I put

 export LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8

in this file

and reboot ( with the option to have SDDM )

When SDDM appears it is now entirely in French !
