Yes, the '/dev/ttyS0' serial port entry in '/etc/inittab' is modified by sarpi-hacks pkg to '/dev/ttyAMA0'. So, I'm guessing by chroot-ing it, it's messed it up a little because I don't see the 'INIT: Id "s0" respawning too fast' error at all. Or any other UART issue.

the entry in inittab is ok ... it's just that the dev file as not there ... I created it but after reboot it was not there again *i think it is one of the saved devs that udev might puut aside the firs time it runs) ...
so I created it manually again and restarted just init ... but still I get the respawning message
If you don't get that message I'm sure it's something I did wrong while cutting the corners to cook the uSD quickly.
