Still no joy regarding HDMI audio here with 5.13.15. Similar results to 5.13.12. No worries, thanks for posting it all.

Another issue that I've noticed with the 5.13.x series is that if I use dtoverlay=vc4-fkms-v3d the pi won't boot at all. The screen goes blank while loading bcm2835 stuff at boot, and the pi is completely unresponsive at that point. Boots fine with dtoverlay=vc4-kms-v3d, but dual monitors aren't available, and of course no HDMI audio, which are deal-breakers for my purposes.

With the 5.10.x series both fkms and kms work fine, with kms eliminating a small glitch in KDE graphics. Not sure if this is of any use to anyone else, it's way beyond my skill set to figure out.

Thanks for the feedback.

The issue has already been highlighted, and is known, by the Raspberry Pi kernel devs: https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux/issues/4439

Be ware that 5.13 kernel is very new and has a number of conflicts with kms drivers (as more patches appear upstream in slightly different forms), so issues are not unexpected.
