Inode 235806978 has INLINE_DATA_FL flag on filesystem without inline data support.

I'm trying to locate info as to what this means, thought I'd post here as I'm investigating, maybe someone else run into this.

Last couple reboots took long time on bpipro, as it is headless I did not see what was going on.

Last updates needed reboot so I connected monitor and noticed
Quote:
/dev/sdc1 contains a file system with errors, check forced.
with messages as in subject.

Went about doing following
Quote:
e2fsck -vp /dev/sdc1
/dev/sdc1 contains a file system with errors, check forced.
/dev/sdc1: Inode 235806978 has INLINE_DATA_FL flag on filesystem without inline data support.

/dev/sdc1: UNEXPECTED INCONSISTENCY; RUN fsck MANUALLY.
(i.e., without -a or -p options)
I'm going to have hit enter over and over again?

I've not seen that message before, but fsck has a -y option.

Been really busy working, have hardly any personal time.

I can't make that drive behave in anyway, I think it's unusable, I'll try again some other time and post back.
