Read the faq / readme to find out how to pass an option to the kernel, then pass this argument to it:
init=3
Pass options like the 'root=/dev/hda1' and 'rw' options were passed. I think the 'init=' option is for the specification of where the init program is, if you want to specify runlevels, put a '3' by itself.
It won't work with Drivespace. You'll need to adjust your setting to free up enough room to copy it to 'H' or whatever - make more uncompressed room on your host drive for Zipslack to fit. Unzip it to the uncompressed region. Then you can boot it.
well its in the process of freeing up space on drive H. but that looks like it'll be taking a few hrs (old slow computer). so i guess ill be going to bed now as its 3:30 AM here. thanks heaps to everyone who offered suggestions to help me get this thing up and running. hopefully this will be the end of it (or the beginning) and ill be back on here in no time asking lots more questions about stupid things. thanks again guys
well i decided to uncompress the drive all together. but unfortunatly it has decided to keep a 500 meg file called Drvspace.001 which i cannot remove (i get a message saying i must use drivespace to remove it but drivespace insists that c: isnt compressed...
