Xsetup_0.orig, Xsession.orig? no original file


after latest updates there is
/usr/doc/xdm-1.1.11/Xsetup_0.orig
/usr/doc/xdm-1.1.11/Xsession.orig

but no

/usr/doc/xdm-1.1.11/Xsetup_0
/usr/doc/xdm-1.1.11/Xsession

The Slackware-specific files are in /etc/X11/xdm. The files you reference are backups of upstream's files and are placed
there by Pat by design. As to the blank lines see this thread for an explanation and fix.
