Workaround for urlview in Mutt 1.5.23, Slack 14.1

Slackware 14.1 has no provision for urlview (that I have found -- looked at SBo and Alien Bob), so I assume those days are over. It would be fun to have URL extraction in Mutt, though. AFAIK whatever text-based browser you use for that purpose, w3m or Lynx, etc, urlview is still required. I suspect I overlooked something. Comments, please, and TIA.

You can use the one for slackware version 13.1 from slackbuilds it works fine.

To use it on a 64bit system,
You also need this gentoo-x86_64.patch to prevent segfaults

Code:
--- urlview.c.orig      2005-02-06 17:10:54.000000000 +0100
+++ urlview.c   2005-02-06 17:57:06.998290062 +0100

 #include <fcntl.h>
 #include <sys/stat.h>

+#include "quote.h"
+
 #ifdef HAVE_REGEX_H
 #include <regex.h>
 #else
Enjoy

A thousand thanks!

Ooops! I can't download the source from SBo, and ftp://ftp.mutt/org/pub/mutt/contrib is not responding ("unavailable"). The Powers That Be seem to have shut the door on this little feature.

Sincere thanks to everybody who has tried to help! This looks to me like a tar baby, so I'm moving on. I'm a computer user, not a computer hobbyist.

You also have these two alternatives that work with mutt:

urlscan

https://github.com/firecat53/urlscan

extract_url.pl

Thanks for sharing these links. I've been considering returning to using mutt, so these should come in handy.
