WinXP Slack Dual Booting on a 200GB Seagate Barracuda

Hi there, I have been having an absolute hell of a time with this.

I bought a new Seagate 200GB drive
I installed it
I installed WinXP SP2
I installed PartitionMagic
I resized the NTFS Partition to 80GB
I tried to install Slack 10 and got a fatal error regarding my last sector being out of range and also that I had an invalid boot record.
I am assuming that this has something to do with the software Seagate supplied and how it partitions for big drives.

Any help would be loved. Thank you for your consideration.

I know with my 160 gig Partition Magic only saw it as a 132gig or something like that. I ended up using cfdisk in linux to create the partitions. What I would do is run the Slackware install again. When you get to the part that lets you partition your harddrive, delete all the partitions that you have on there now, and then create what you want for Windows and Slack. Then just continue with the Slackware install, and when you're done, install Windows.

EDIT: Forgot that you will also need to reinstall Lilo since Windows will overwrite the MBR. Just use one of the Slackware install cd's to boot up into Slackware after you install Windows. Then you can edit the /etc/lilo.conf file and add your XP install to it. Then run /sbin/lilo to install lilo.
