Why won't korganizer send an email as an alarm?

If I go to advanced when creating an event, the email bubble is grayed out.

The todo list (http://pim.kde.org/components/korganizer/korgtodo.html) says sending events through email is in progress, but that's not what I'm talking about is it?

I know this was a really shitty question with pretty much no info.. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

edit: on that page i just found it saying that sending an email is actually in progress. So.. is that page out of date? or am I out of luck?

As you guessed, this seems to be a work in progress. In the mean time, you can probably use the "Program" option to run a program that will send you an email, like a properly configured mailx.

Darn. My favorite calendaring app is Sunbird. And in that sending an email is a work-in-progress. So I tried korganizer. How disappointing...

I wish I were better at coding. Thanks for the command hint, though.
